Ministries - Children's Ministry

Foundation

"Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6), "And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." (Luke 2:52)

Children's Ministry Focus

Our desire is to instill truth in our children to prepare them for when they are 18 years old, out of the house, and living on their own. This process does not begin when a child reaches middle school or high school, rather, it begins at birth. Knowing our destination, we believe there must exist a strong partnership between the church and parents, who are on the front lines of teaching, training, and reaching their children.

Biblical Education

Biblical Education is vitally important to the spiritual health of a church body. We offer hour-long, curriculum-based classes every Sunday morning from 9:30am-10:25am for all ages. Click on the following link to learn more about our Biblical Education Ministry.

First Look (Preschool Ministry, Ages 2–5)

At a time in life when children are exploring the wonders of the world, we want to instill three fundamental truths at this age: God made me, God loves me, Jesus wants to be my friend forever. (The Nursery, Birth-2 years old) uses an age appropriate version of the First Look curriculum to minister to the little ones). First Look takes place every Sunday morning at 10:30am during the Main Service. Click on the following link to view the First Look Curriculum.

252 Basics (Elementary School, Grades K-5)

After instilling fundamental truths about God’s relationship with us, we want to take elementary-aged children to the next step of answering the question, “How does this apply to me?” We will help answer this question by focusing on a specific virtue each month throughout the year. By the time a child enters sixth grade, we hope to have instilled in them the following truths, “I need to make the wise choice”, “I can trust God no matter what”, “I should treat others the way I want to be treated”. 252 Basics takes place every Sunday morning at 10:30am during the Main Service.
